XML Finland Association invites all interested people from public sector,industry and academia to participate in its eighth annual seminar, XML Finland 2003. The seminar serves as a meeting point for all interest groups of XML and related technologies.

The main theme of this year's seminar is Open Standards, XML and the Public Sector. Various XML based technologies are presented from practicalpoint of view and also in a more visionary light. These areas, as well as the status and application of other XML technologies, are explored by tutorials, key notes, invited talks and technical paper presentations. Languages of the seminar are Finnish and English.

XML Finland is a non-profit association with the purpose of providing knowledge about XML and related standards. XML Finland 2003 continues the tradition set by previous seminars in Espoo, Vaasa, Jyväskylä, Helsinki, Oulu and Tampere. For more information, see http://www.xml-finland.org/.
